Pickin’ With Pano: NFL Week 11 (MNF Edition)

For those of you who caught the first installment of David Panosian’s picks, you will know that he came through with shining colors in his debut. Outside of the Bills vs Jets, he nailed every other game against the spread. David successfully advised taking the Bucs (-1), the 49’ers (+3), and the Bronco’s (-7.5). Keep in mind the difficulty of the latter two games. Here is David’s pick for Monday Night’s showdown between the New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers. Be sure to check back for Thursday Night’s game, as well as next Friday for Week 12’s matchups!

Week 11 Record: 3-1
Season To Date: 3-1

New England Patriots (+3) at Carolina Panthers:
In quite possibly the most anticipated (and meaningful) Monday Night matchup of the season, the New England Patriots head to Carolina to face off against the potent Panthers. The Panthers are coming off a huge win versus the 49’ers, while the Patriots had an opportunity to rest up during the bye week in order to fully prepare for this showdown. They also are expected to have Shane Vereen back, and none too soon; he had an outstanding debut in Week 1 at Buffalo, and was set to break out before suffering a break to his hand. With Rob Gronkowski having more time to fully heal, and Danny Amendola also healthy, it makes it tough for me to bet against the Panthers, even though they are playing extremely well and are at home. I also like the fact that the Patriots have had the extra time to prepare. Take the points and sit back and enjoy what should be a very enjoyable and competitive game.
