Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving. While you were stuffing your belly’s with turkey, Pano was trying to stuff your wallets with resources for Black Friday. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the Steelers managed to score in the final minute and cover the 3 point spread. It literally took them crossing the goal line three separate times, for it to count just once. Close, but no cigar. David looks to get back on track with these three Sunday games. Don’t be surprised if he gets that cigar come Monday morning. That will be the same time you can get his pick for Monday Night’s clash between the Seahawks and the Saints. Enjoy your weekend, and see you then…
Week 13 Record: 0-1
Season To Date: 5-5

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-1), 1:00pm Fox:
The Bears head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in a NFC North showdown. With the Vikings all but eliminated from playoff contention, they will largely be playing for pride against the Bears, who are still in the mix. Seeing how the Rams did anything they wanted against the Bears run defense, I can only imagine what Adrian Peterson will be able to do on Sunday. I’m also excited to see Cordarelle Patterson with an increased snap count. I think he has a decent chance to break a long one. The Bears offense has played pretty well in the absence of Jay Cutler, and I think it will be close but this has the look of a game where the Bears defense will be on the field a lot. At home, with explosive playmakers against a defense getting absolutely gashed, I feel comfortable laying the point and taking the Vikings here.
Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles (-3), 1:00pm Fox:
In a battle of two teams who have definitely outperformed expectations, the Cardinals head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in a game with definite playoff implications. Arizona is coming off of a thrashing of the Colts, while the Eagles rested up during their bye week. Nick Foles has been on fire, as his bromance with Riley Cooper is blossoming over the past 4 weeks, and I like it to continue here. Patrick Peterson is expected to shadow DeSean Jackson, and I can see Foles depending on Cooper a bunch. While the Cardinals are stout versus the run, I also like LeSean McCoy to perform well. The Eagles have a lot of weapons on offense, and I fear it will be a little too much for an impressive Cardinals team making the cross country trip. This game projects to be high scoring, and Carson Palmer should continue his string of very strong games. But that said, I think the Eagles will be too strong at home. Lay the points.
New York Giants (-1) at Washington Redskins, 8:30pm NBC:
In this battle of historic NFC East foes, the Giants head to the nation’s capital to take on the Redskins at FedEx field. Need to say I expected more of the Redskins on Monday Night Football, and I was rather disappointed in what I saw from the ‘Skins. So right off the bat, I’m going to tell you I like the Giants here. Prior to last weeks loss versus the Cowboys, the Giants had won 4 in a row. The Redskins are coming off of a short week and appear to have mailed it in. Andre Brown is running extremely well right now, and the Giants have impressive weapons in the pass game that should be able to do what they want against the ‘Skins. I like Eli Manning to have a strong game, and the Giants defense (which has had its periods of struggle this year) to stifle Robert Griffin and the Redskins offense. RG3 simply hasn’t been the same quarterback he was that magical year of 2012. Lay the point confidently here.
