Pickin’ With Pano: NFL Week 14 (MNF Edition)

A snow filled Sunday in the NFL, led to more surprises than many probably expected. While the elements are often seen as a challenge, it seemed to be so more for defenses in Week 14. There were many exciting finishes throughout the league, and one has to wonder if the weather affected Pano’s projections. So far this week he is 2-2, so he still has yet to produce a losing day. It should be frigid in Chicago tonight, as two of the most followed franchises meet on Monday Night. The game is a “Pick ‘Em” and serves as the tie breaker for Pano’s Week 14 record. See how he thinks it will end…

Week 14 Record: 2-2
Season To Date: 10-8

Cowboys Bears MNF

Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears (Pick ‘Em), MNF 8:30pm ESPN:
The Dallas Cowboys head to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears in what should be an excellent capper to a very interesting week 14. Jay Cutler will be inactive again Monday Night, meaning Josh McCown gets yet another start. McCown has been excellent in relief of Cutler, and the emergence of Alshon Jeffrey has greatly aided his success. The Bears now have an outstanding WR tandem, and I expect them to have success early and often against a suspect Dallas secondary. Matt Forte should also be one heck of a weapon as well. This matchup also profiles well for Demarco Murray, as the Bears have had serious trouble of late versus opponent running games. The difference here is that I expect the Cowboys to make at least one key mistake on offense which the Bears should capitalize on. The fact this is at home also gives me further confidence in picking the Bears. Take DA BEARS as a pick ’em!
